Primary Insurance secured more than £10m of business in the first quarter of this year, it announced yesterday.

The travel insurance provider, which is based in Altrincham in Cheshire, says that its re-structure has enabled it "to renew existing accounts and attract new clients who are finding out about the comprehensive cover and service available from Primary for the first time".

Operations manager Adele Dawson commented: "The new team at Primary is totally committed to developing products to meet customer needs and ensures that the highest possible standards of product support are provided."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
