The Primary Group has acquired Norwich-based telebroker Wensum Agency Insurance Brokers.
The brokerage specialises in private car insurance and has an annual premium income of more than £5m.
Wensum will become part of Primary's Altrincham call centre.
Primary marketing director John Bibby commented: "The acquisition of Wensum will strengthen our position in the motor market.
"Its clients will receive an identical service based on sourcing the market for the best quote available from the existing panel of insurers.
"Existing employees are currently reviewing relocation terms that have been offered following the decision to move the operations to Altrincham."
