UK Underwriting to operate unit
UK Underwriting has launched an in-house travel assistance unit under the name Primary Assist.
Based in Norwich, this service will operate 24/7 with a team of multi-lingual staff who will co-ordinate out-patient assistance, cost containment, directional care for US cases and in-house medical and emergency commercial flight repatriation bookings on all cases.
Primary Assist will work with companies such as United Health Care, Medical Claims International, Healix International and Suitcase Ltd.
UK Underwritign and Primary Assist will continue to work with Global Excel, Global Response and Inter Group Assistance Services to provide inpatient assistance worldwide.
Marie-Christine Exon-Gallé will head up the unit.
UK Underwriting is a third party affinity management business of Primary Group.
