Underwriting agency and broker support group Markerstudy has launched its Flexible Benefits Car Scheme to help companies hold on to the benefits of company car schemes in the face of higher taxes.

Markerstudy claimed the scheme, which was developed with fleet management company First Active Cars, replicated the benefits of the company car fleet "without the headaches".

The scheme, which has received approval from the Inland Revenue, allows an employer to retain control of the vehicle fleet while giving employees the chance to own their cars through credit agreements backed by First Active Cars.
