Welsh broker Protectagroup has announced the acquisition of broker channel, The Broker Gateway & Vanguard Insurance.
Protectagroup said the £2.5m acquisition is part of its plans to secure a leading position in the top 50 UK brokers by 2007.
The Broker Gateway comes under the management of Direct Insure, Protectagroup said.
