Independent Insurance's liquidators Pricewaterhousecoopers (PWC) will put information on premium finance on its website, to stem the flow of calls to its helpline.
A PWC spokeswoman said there had been a number of calls, questioning the legal position of policyholders who must make payments to premium credit companies.
She said there would be information on www.independent-insurance.co.uk this afternoon or early tomorrow to answer policyholders' questions.
She also said there would now be no information on the sale of Property & Casualty Services until tomorrow.
