PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is to extend the deadline by which Independent Insurance's brokers must respond to its compromise deal over the return of commission.
The deadline will be postponed for a week from 19 June to Wednesday 26 June, the liquidator is expected to announce later today.
Sources say the decision to extend the deadline was taken after a positive response to the deal was received from brokers at yesterday's meeting in Birmingham between PwC's Dan Schwarzmann and brokers.
