Loss adjuster QuestGate said it is to expand the premises for its environmental claims unit due to the success of the division.
It said the need for new offices had arisen due to the rapid expansion of the unit since its formation in November 2003.
QuestGate described the establishment of the new offices in Maidstone, Kent as another major step in the division’s development programme.
The unit’s director Alan Dobson, said: “As an example of the need to keep pace with current developments, the Landfill Directive and Landfill Regulations 2002, which could significantly increase insurers claims spend, are due to take effect from July this year.
“The Environmental Claims Unit is working closely with consultants and the statutory bodies to try to minimise the effects of their implementation.
