Loss adjusters QuestGates and Adjusting Solutions are to establish a joint major and complex loss facility.
The companies said the move would increase QuestGates' existing major loss capability and give Adjusting Solutions' clients immediate access to national resources and specialist services, including engineers, surveyors and environmental specialists.
“Whilst combining their resources and capabilities, each company will continue to provide services to its existing clients and will remain an independent business,” the companies said in a statement.
Chris Hall, managing director of QuestGates, said: “The relationship with Adjusting Solutions is an exciting development for us, as we continue to provide our clients with additional high quality services in niche technical areas.
"While our present resources include major loss directors previously with companies such as Capita and Crawford, this agreement will enable us to develop further in this area."
Hall added that he anticipated further high-level recruitment.
Adjusting Solutions, a firm of chartered loss adjusters which specialises in high end complex claims in the London insurance market, said: "This association maintains our independence, while providing definite client benefits on resource and services.
