Kings Street office aims to target regional brokers
Randall and Quilter (R&Q) has opened its first regional MGA office in Manchester to sell more products to local brokers.
The Kings Street office will house a team from R&Q Commercial Risk Services, part of R&Q’s MGA arm.
The new office will be headed by R&Q Commercial Risk Services director James Wheddon, and R&Q underwriters Marek and Ted Rusinek have also joined the team.
It will specialise in commercial combined, property owners, contracting and package lines.
R&Q MGA chief executive Nicholas Hales said: “The opening of a new office in Manchester is a demonstration of the group’s commitment to develop a leading MGA platform.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
