Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) is expected to announce within days the sale of its estate agency business to a subsidiary of Skipton building society, revealed a report.
R&SA's 360 branch business is expected to be bought by a smaller rival, estate agent Connells, said the report.
R&SA's estate agency business is the second largest in Britain. The sale would end months of speculation about the future of the business.
