Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) and Yorkshire Building Society have extended their supplier contract in a deal set to generate £100m in gross written premiums.

The supplier contract, which will commence in March 2004, is expected to run for a further three years.

Rob Hayes, financial services director, R&SA UK personal intermediaries said: "This is good news for the RSA team. The renewal of our partnership is in line with our business plans to be a strong player in selected intermediary personal lines, and it underlines our desire to work closely with partners to build well managed books of business with innovative service solutions.

"It also demonstrates that we can win business competitively on terms that meet our profitability and return on capital requirements."
