Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) has teamed up with the Leeds Health Authority and Leeds & Holbeck Building Society to stage a critically-acclaimed roadshow about child safety.

Schools throughout Leeds will take part in the roadshow about accident prevention. Accidents claim the lives of more children in the UK than any other cause.

The hard-hitting Canadian roadshow uses rock music and big-screen imagery to teach young people to take prevention into their own hands.

Regional Corporate Business Manager for R&SA Rob Hayes said: "The Smartrisk initiative is a great example of what can be achieved through the co-operation of different sectors of the business community."

The show was piloted in Leeds last year and will return for a week-long run at the Royal Armouries on 11 March.
