Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) has provided further detail over plans announced last week to offshore 1,200 jobs to India.
Speaking at a broker roadshow, R&SA UK commercial director Brendan McManus said that while the majority of the roles would service its More Th>n direct personal lines business, some staff in India would deal with commercial motor claims. He said first notification of loss on some motor claims and some third party motor recoveries would be handled from India. But he said there would be "practically zero impact on brokers".
