Royal & Sun Alliance (R&SA) has re-entered the FTSE 100 index.
R&SA's promotion was at the expense of outsourcing specialist, Capita Group, which was demoted from the list of top UK firms.
Changes to the FTSE UK Index Series announced today will be applied to the indices after the close of business on 20 June 2003.
