According to a report by Bloomberg, The National Association of Pension Funds has advised shareholders to abstain from voting on the package at the company's annual general meeting on 14 May.
Royal & Sun Alliance's finance director could receive a £250,000 bonus on top of his £400,000 annual salary if his package is agreed.
