Weeks Consulting's Geotechnical Division has formed a rapid reaction landslip force to deal with problems the occur after a landslide.
The team has been deployed to respond to the current and projected increase in landslip incidences that have been triggered by the recent excessive levels of rainfall.
Derek Jenkins, managing director of Weeks Consulting, said: “Our in-house, rapid response capability ensures a comprehensive service. It includes the design and implementation of all necessary investigations, recommendations on the most appropriate remedial work, preparation of all necessary documentation and supervision of construction to ensure safe and speedy solutions.”
