Rapidinsure.co.uk, the online insurance broker owned by financial services group Berkeley Morgan, reduced its losses in 2003.
The division recorded income of £952,395 for the six months to 31 October 2003 for a loss of £34,042, compared to a loss of £158,586 for the same period in 2002.
Group chairman and managing director Jon Pardoe said: "We remain confident that the company will move into profit within the next few months."
Overall group revenues increased by more than 7% to £8.2m for the period, and the group recorded a pre-tax profit of £672,176, compared to a loss of £1m for the same time last year.
Berkeley Morgan's other businesses include financial advising and health insurance broking.
