IT provider Rebus iS has signed a partnership deal with Microsoft to create a new platform for its Genius underwriting solution.
Rebus said it hopes the deal will enable it exploit Microsoft technologies.
Under the deal, Rebus will integrate its applications across the internet.
Rebus chief executive Robert Gogel said: "Insurance is steadily moving towards an internet-centric environment, where future applications revolve around connectivity and integration.
"By partnering with Microsoft, Rebus will combine the might of .Net with our own intimate knowledge of the insurance industry, to deliver a state-of-the-art, future-proof underwriting solution."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
