Start up broker goes live with broking platform

New broker start up Renew Insurance Services has selected CDL software as its broking platform.

Renew Insurance has launched into the market with a panel of over 40 insurers and support from many major aggregators.

It is building a 100% EDI motor panel which will enable them to communicate speedily with their insurer partners. Products can be bought online, through aggregators or via a UK call centre.

Derek Roberts, systems director at Renew Insurance said “We have launched with two new brands aimed at newly defined market sectors, and we have ambitious growth plans for these brands.

"From our experience of CDL Classic and CDL’s internet XML solutions, including their ‘Black Box’ aggregator solution, we know we have chosen the correct partnership to underpin our automated and efficient processes.

"CDL software is supremely reliable and scalable and provides the flexibility needed to establish and grow the business.”

Rick Slater, general manager of CDL, said: “We are delighted to welcome a new addition and a few old friends back into the fold.

"We take great pleasure in providing them with a robust platform to get their business off to a smart start and enable them to grow quickly with confidence.

"With more and more business going online and through aggregators, we pride ourselves on providing CDL customers with everything they need to run efficient and profitable organisations.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
