Stephen Riley has resigned as managing director of CNA Re's UK arm and will be replaced by Keith Davies at the end of this month. He will take up a new role as underwriting executive at Global Aerospace Underwriting Managers (GAUM) next month.
GAUM said Riley will work closely alongside Peter Butler, the current underwriting executive, until Butler steps down at the end of this year.
Group chief executive Tony Medniuk commented: "Replacing someone of Peter Butler's stature was always going to be a difficult task and Stephen's many qualities make him an excellent choice for the role."
