Risk management toolkit created for public sector

A risk management toolkit to help public sector organisations manage everyday risks has been developed by the National Forum for Risk Management (ALARM).

Bob Cope, chairman of ALARM said: "Risk management is fast becoming a key part of the planning process for all public sector organisations and with the increase of issues such as E-risks, Business Continuity Planning and compensation fraud, it is becoming vital that good risk management strategies are in place."

ALARM said the toolkit was designed to be of use to all risk managers and public sector organisations, regardless of what risk management systems they already had in place.

The toolkit also comes with a license allowing users to use and amend the toolkit wherever necessary as risk management changes, said ALARM.
