Broker RK Harrison is set to continue its expansion by opening a Chester office in the autumn.
RK Harrison claims the move is in line with its objectives to meet its short and long-term growth objectives.
The branch will focus on commercial business in the north west, Wales and midland areas. It will also focus on high net worth insurance through its new regional outlet.
RK Harrison's commercial director Stuart Rootham added: "The three-year target for Chester is an annual commission income of £1 million and I am sure we will meet this figure due to our proven track record of organic growth.
"We are looking to commence with six to nine personnel who wish to operate with a solid infrastructure and dedicated broking team in place. As always, our main focus will be on service and delivery, offering a national product with a local personal touch."
