Charities and their trustees are at risk from losses that could stem from allegations of misuse of charitable funds, defamation or a breach of trust by a trustee.
The financial impact of such allegations could have a significant effect on the charity's ability to continue operating.
Charity Trustee Assurance provides cover against many of the principal liabilities that could be incurred by charities and their trustees.
The standard cover for trustee indemnity is £250,000, but quotations for much higher limits are available.
