Royal & Sun Alliance (R&SA) has been relegated from the FTSE 100 following a meeting of the FTSE advisory committee.
R&SA was ejected from the FTSE 100 alongside British Airways and Rolls-Royce.
Changes to the FTSE Index will be applied to the indices after the close of business on Friday.
