Royal & SunAlliance has announced net written premium of more than £239m in its healthcare business.
RSA healthcare & assistance director Steve Wood said: "Our status within the industry was confirmed as we passed the £100m barrier for Private Medical Insurance.
"Intermediaries, clients and established industry players have now acknowledged our weight in the balance."
RSA healthcare & assistance provides a wide range of products and services for corporate and personal customers.
Recent market growth has been spearheaded by the Values range of PMI products.
