The Rubicon Corporation has acquired the Miller Fisher Group's Business Solutions division from its receivers, including the Waltham Cross Call Centre and the Motor Vehicle Inspection business.
The new subsidiary will be headed up by former Miller Fisher executives Tom Anderson, David Cresswell and Norman Connell.
Rubicon's chief executive Bradley Brandon-Cross commented: "I am delighted that we have been able to rescue these quality businesses.
"Business Solutions will enhance our existing capabilities in creditor and travel insurance, while adding the ability to process warranty contracts, whereas the Motor Vehicle Inspection division will complement our current motor claims business."
The business has been purchased from Miller Fisher's receivers, Nick Dargan and Jamie Smith of Deloitte & Touche.
