Over-50s specialist broker to buy new building in Hastings
Saga, a broker specialising in insurance for the over-50s, is to create 800 jobs in Hastings, making it the town's largest employer, the Financial Times reports.
The broker has decided to locate its new contact centre in Hastings, and will buy One Priory Square, a new building in the town centre.
The new contact centre, which will handle customer service and claims handling for Saga's insurance division, will open in the new year, initially employing 150 people.
