Standard & Poor's (S&P) has affirmed its "A-" counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings on The Standard Steamship Owners' P&I Association, with a stable outlook.
S&P said the club ratings were based on its membership of the Standard family of clubs, which included its larger sister, The Standard Steamship Owners' P&I Association.
The ratings agency also said strong capitalisation, good operating performance, and good competitive position had confirmed its rating.
