Over the past two years, the cost of school fires has doubled from £42m to £87m, according to ALARM - the national forum for risk managemnet in the public sector.
A seminar to tackle the issue has been arranged for 8 March at the TechnoCentre in Coventry. The seminar is being hosted by ALARM, its private sector risk managemnet trade body IRMIC and the Fire Protection Association.
