Evil thugs torched the Fraserborough Congregational church in Scotland after first ransacking the building, writes Sasha Bennett.

Firemen battled in vain to control the flames, which gutted the church.

Loss adjusters Miller Pycraft were instructed by insurers Congregational and General to pay out £750,000 to cover the cost of the damages.

The congregation will worship in a neighbouring local hall until their church is rebuilt.
