Sectornet brokers have started trading electronically with the first live commercial product available from its electronic trading arm, iSector.
The Property Owners product is aimed at the residential sector, and is underwritten by Euclidian at Lloyd's.
Sectornet said 12 brokers were already using the system, and that take-up for the new product had been extremely positive.
The company hopes the new product will enable Sectornet brokers to place most, if not all, of their Property Owners business electronically.
Other commercial lines products will launch on iSector this year, said the company, including a Household product, and Small Contractors Combines and Office Packages.
