Insurance Times senior reporter Christine Seib scooped the general insurance journalist of the year award at last night's ABI Financial Services Media Awards.

Earlier this year Seib won the BIBA journalist of the year award.

"I'm delighted. Christine is a valuable asset to Insurance Times and the industry," said Insurance Times editor Andy Cook.

"Christine is rightly celebrated for her market-leading coverage of the Independent Insurance story, but she has dug out great exclusives all year round in the commercial lines market," added Cook.
