A new body to self-regulate the troubled personal injury industry has been launched.

The Personal Injury Federation aims to clean up and stabilise the accident compensation industry.

PIF chief executive of PIF Raymond Clewer says that the federation will be a governing body for the industry and will provide its membership with a range of facilities designed to improve standards of operation and the confidence of consumers.

The federation is also involved in industry working parties aimed at dealing with the rogue elements who have given the industry a bad name in recent times, and putting into place training programs which lead to accreditation and registration of companies and their agents.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
