Marsh announced today the appointment of Sir Peter Middleton to the newly created role of non-executive chairman.
Middleton joins Marsh following a career in which he held senior positions in both the public and private sectors including group chairman of Barclays.
Bruce Carnegie-Brown, Marsh's president and CEO for the Europe and Middle East region, said: “We are delighted to welcome Sir Peter to Marsh. A leader of great professional standing and personal integrity, he will bring enormous strength and expertise to our board in the UK.”
