Sirius Financial Systems has announced a collaboration with AXA that will give users of Sirius for Broking software access to AXA's e-enablement facilities for commercial quotations and product information.
The companies claim this will "significantly streamline" the process for commercial lines business placement between Sirius brokers and AXA.
The need to re-key data will be eliminated, with information and quotation data passing directly from AXAI into the Sirius back-office system.
AXA commercial & intermediary lines director Mark Cliff said: "It is critical for commercial quotation and accounting data to pass quickly and efficiently between AXA and its brokers.
"Only through developments such as this, which extend the value of our portal, will all parties in the insurance life-cycle eliminate cost, make financial gain and improve customer service."
