Sirius Financial Systems said the implementation of its Sirius for Broking system for Country Mutual Insurance Brokers (CMIB) is halfway to completion.

Seven CMIB sites have gone live with the system. The completion of the ten-month rollout of Sirius for Broking will see the system used in 14 CMIB locations by 320 staff, said Sirius.

Sirius said the CMIB contract, worth £2m, is the largest sale for its broking system to date. CMIB is an independent broker owned by NFU County Mutual Insurance Company.

Sirius Intermediary Systems chief executive Mike Dodd, said: “This contract is a further milestone in that it marks our entry into the world of Managed Service Provision.

“As an alternative to a traditional deployment, we can now manage and support on behalf of our customers the entire architecture upon which the Sirius for Broking application is resident.”

The solution is hosted out of NFUM’s Stratford head office and will be managed remotely by the MSP team from Sirius’ offices, removing the need for a dedicated in-house IT team.
