Moody's has changed Sirius International Insurance Corporation's rating from A1, negative outlook, to A2. The rating remains under review, with the possibility of a further downgrade.

This follows its subsidiary, Scandinavian Re, ceasing underwriting and declaring losses of $90 million (£63 million). Moody's said they are also concerned about Sirius' performance being further affected by Scan Re's previous underwriting.
