Software house Policy Master has released the latest version of its broker back office system, Sirius.

The application centres on new workflow management technology. This shows the broker the working status of all outstanding tasks and allows managers to "drill down" and look at what is going on with each enquiry.

Broking systems sales director Alaric Errington said the solution has been two years in development, and has been on beta test (pilot) with a number of brokers for six months.

He explained: "The system controls, manages and automates all the processes in a brokers office."

The new package automatically carries out mundane tasks such as writing emails, letters, planning risk schedules and claims reports.

There will be two charging methods for the new system. The first is for software and services only and the second is a monthly rental fee for which Policy Master will provide cabling, installation, email, a quarterly training session at the broker's offices and other services.

Policy Master has yet to reveal how much it is likely to charge brokers for the system.
