Three out of four small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are satisfied that their insurer takes an interest in them, according to research commissioned by the General Insurance Market Research Association (GIMRA).
The industry-wide research revealed that SMEs believed insurers are fair in four key elements: paying out, protecting their business, providing a good deal, and supplying good quality service.
Expectations of service were high among the SMEs, GIMRA said. Insurers are regarded as delivering a relatively good service on the majority of measures covered.
The findings are drawn from a survey, ‘treating customers fairly', which examined policyholders' expectations of fairness.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
