BUPA International and Old Mutual Healthcare have joined forces to deliver a new international healthcare product called Worldwide Carenet.
The product is aimed specifically at expatriate South African companies and individuals. However, it will extend between £500,000 and £1m full international medical cover to all nationalities except South Africans in their home country.
“By coming together we will be able to leverage our combined expertise and knowledge in the best interest of all our customers,” said Bill Ward, Bupa International's director general.
Old Mutual Healthcare offers a range of services to medical schemes in South Africa.
