Software Solutions Partners (SSP) is in discussions with Polaris and various insurers about speeding up Imarket implementation throughout the market.

SSP is expected to commence live Imarket trading during March from multiple segments of its user base.

With SSP customers currently processing around £2.5bn gross written premium of commercial lines business, the company said accelerating Imarket implementation through its system would significantly increase transactions.

SSP said it had been working to set a consistent approach to Imarket integration strategy across the business. A stand-alone component was currently being developed that would integrate with SSP's product range and could also be integrated with any broking application, not just SSP systems.

Laurence Walker, SSP managing director said: “Following the acquisition of Sectornet in December, we have reviewed our Imarket strategy, and developing our component will not only integrate all our existing solutions with Imarket, but will at the same time provide our users with access to non-Imarket insurers.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
