St Paul Travelers has received its first subpoena from the office of the New York attorney general, while Crawford said it had also been subpoenaed.
The attorney general issued his fourth subpoena to St Paul Travelers on Friday over whether the company improperly dropped liability cover for attorneys.
Crawford said it had received the Spitzer subpoena seeking access to “various documents” in connection with the investigation.
