The Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII) chairman Stephen Walker is to join the ABI's PMI panel.
The ABI said discussions about issues facing the PMI industry had recently been held between the two bodies.
As a result of these discussions the ABI said it felt that the AMII was “better placed” to represent the PMI intermediary sector on its specialised panel.
