New AXA Re chief
Hans-Peter Gerhardt has joined AXA Re as chief executive. The appointment is effective from
1 May. Gerhardt was formerly vice-president of the board of directors of General Cologne Re.
Goshawk shares
Standard Life Investments has acquired an extra 500,000 shares, or 0.28%, of Goshawk Insurance, increasing its stake to 7.4 million shares, or 4.23%.
Frontier extends
Sherwood International has announced that Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company (RSL) will extend the use of its Frontier group administration and workflow management solution.
It will now include claims processing.
Sherwood has also announced the opening of a new global headquarters in Chertsey, Surrey.
