AIG update
AIG has responded to the outcry from the Paddington Survivors Group over the delay in payment to victims.

In a statement, AIG said: "We understand the primary insurance policy has recently reached its indemnity limit and therefore the remaining outstanding claims have now been passed to the insurers of the excess layers for final settlement."

It named New Hampshire Company, an AIG company, as the lead insurer of the first excess layer.

Heath Lambert
The former Heath Lambert auto and equipment products team has started a new broker called EPG Insurance Services. The broker will focus on mechanical breakdown covers for manufacturing and distribution companies.

EPG is led by John Shepherd and Jeff Dolton. John Holman & Sons will provide Lloyd's access, compliance and infrastructure support.

Keith Stewart

GAB Robins announced a new regional structure for its liability division.

Tony Wadey, as UK liability director, will head the new division, with Ken Jobling as liability operations director. Dan Peck will join as divisional manager in London.
