AXA revenue riseAXA reported a 2.3% increase in revenues for the first quarter of 2004, up to E20bn compared to the first quarter of 2003. Without taking account for currency changes or scope, revenues were down 1.9% on the first quarter of 2003. Personal lines GWP grew 4% while commercial lines GWP grew 9% compared to the first quarter of 2003.

New Atradius chief Credit management and insurance specialist Atradius has appointed Wilfried Verstraete as chairman and chief executive. Prior to his appointment, Verstraete was chief financial officer for Wanadoo, Orange and Mobistar.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
