A poll from employment law consultancy Peninsula says 8 out of 10 brokers are stressed out at work.
The survey asked 586 employees across the insurance broker industry and found that 8 in every 10 workers feel under stress and are afraid to approach their boss out of fear of being sacked.
Peninsula's managing director, Peter Done, said: “The well-being of employees is part of an employer's responsibility and obligation; stress in the workplace should be treated seriously and monitored closely once the problem has come to light.”
