Grimsby-based Sutcliffe Solloway & Co has announced the acquisition of fellow Willis Network member, Weller Russell & Laws.
The acquisition will broaden Sutcliffe Solloway & Co's geographical base to Boston.
“The integration of the office locations is progressing well” says James Sutcliffe, director of Sutcliffe Solloway & Co Ltd.
“The acquisition gives us coverage of the whole of Lincolnshire and surrounding counties, [and creates] an exciting prospect for us.”
Both brokers are members of the Willis Network, which said it was actively encouraging a further merger and acquisition strategy among its members.
Mark Radburn Managing Director of the Willis Commercial Network said: “As well as continuing to grow the Network through the recruitment of new members, help is given to those who wish to make acquisitions.
“Since 2002 Network Members have made 42 acquisitions, a few of which were within the Network.”
