Top SVB underwriter Mark Wheeler has quit the company.
Wheeler, who joined the group in 1990, resigned last week.
Wheeler was the active underwriter for SVB syndicate 1007, which specialised in fine art and professional indemnity lines.
SVB chief executive Matthew Fosh said: "I'm very sorry to see him go, but he wants a new challenge. He's a very talented guy."
